This September update is mostly about pricing, and the headline is the free plan. We wanted the free version of Namkos Progress Bar to be something a real store can run on for good, not a teaser that runs out in a week. So we made it a lot bigger.
What Changed in September 2026
- 10x more free views. The free Launch plan now includes 10,000 bar views a month, up from 1,000.
- Every placement is free. The product page bar and the cart page bar used to need a paid plan. Now they're on the free plan too.
- 2 free promotions, up from 1.
- Two simple paid plans. Growth at $4.99 a month and Scale at $9.99 a month.
- Longer free trials. Paid plans now come with a 14-day free trial, up from 7 days.
The New Free Plan: 10,000 Views and Every Placement
A "view" is counted when a shopper sees one of your bars. 10,000 views a month works out to roughly 300 visitors a day. For most small and growing Shopify stores, that's enough to run Namkos Progress Bar on the free plan without thinking about limits.
The bigger change is where your bar can appear. On the free plan you can now show progress in all three places:
- Top or bottom bar, sitewide, so shoppers see the goal on every page.
- Product page, right under the Add to Cart button, where the buying decision happens.
- Cart page, the last moment before checkout, when shoppers are deciding whether to add one more item.
Rewards can be free shipping, a percentage off, a fixed amount off or a free gift. Free shipping and discount rewards apply automatically at checkout, so shoppers never need to type a code.
The free plan also includes full styling, 11 fonts, basic analytics (views and goals reached) and email support. No credit card is required.
Growth and Scale: When You Need More
If you outgrow the free plan, there are two paid plans.

Growth is for stores that want to sell more in the same cart. You pick the products to suggest, and shoppers add them with one click from the product page or cart page bar. You can also hide the bar on specific products or collections, and full analytics adds revenue, conversions, average order value, add-to-carts and upsell clicks. 100,000 views a month is about 3,300 visitors a day.
Scale is for high-traffic stores. It removes the view limit and the promotion limit, so your bars never pause, and it adds priority same-day support. Everything else is the same as Growth.
Both paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Paying yearly works out to about two months free.

Is Namkos Progress Bar still free? Yes. The Launch plan is free forever with no credit card required. It includes 2 promotions, 10,000 monthly views and every placement: the top or bottom bar, the product page and the cart page.
What happens if I reach my monthly view limit? Your bars pause until your views reset the next month. The dashboard warns you when you reach 90% of your limit, so you have time to upgrade to Growth (100,000 views) or Scale (unlimited) if you need to.
Do I need to do anything to get the new free plan? No. Stores already on the free plan get the new limits automatically, including the product page and cart page bars.
How does the free trial work? Growth and Scale include a 14-day free trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you're not charged. Billing runs through your Shopify account.
